Virpi has over 20 years’ experience in key legal roles, in both Competition and Commercial law. She has gained several years of strategic in-house experience from both the food industry sector, in a major Finnish food company, as well as from Finland’s biggest retailer. In addition to her vast experience as an in-house counsel, she has worked in a top-tier Finnish law firm for app. 10 years, advising international clients on Competition Law in particular. Virpi works currently as the Chief Legal Officer of Tokmanni Group, one of the leading variety discount retailers in the Nordics.

Virpi holds a Master of Laws degree, from both the University of Turku, as well as from the University of Stockholm, with special emphasis on EC Competition Law.
