Ylva Aversten is a judge at the Patent and Market Court and the Stockholm District Court. From 2012 to 2016, she worked as a lawyer specializing in marketing law. From 2005 to 2010, she worked as a reporting judge at the Swedish Market Court (the court dealing with competition law cases before the Patent and Market Court was established). She has also worked with gambling and lottery matters at the Ministry of Finance, as an expert adviser at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and as a trainee at DG Competition.
