Andreas Reindl is VBB’s Managing Partner and a senior EU competition law practitioner. He has over 30 years’ experience of working with international clients to ensure their strategic collaborations, joint ventures and other business cooperations support their commercial aims while remaining competition law-compliant. His experience includes advising on bilateral, multilateral and industry-wide initiatives, across a wide range of industries, as well as handling high-profile merger cases and behavioural investigations. Andreas has a strong Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) practice and regularly advises major industry players on the FSR implications of their projects and transactions, and on making successful FSR notifications to the European Commission. He also plays a leading role in the firm’s cross-practice defence group.

Andreas has served as Director of the Fordham Competition Law Institute at Fordham Law School, New York, and as a Principal Administrator at the OECD’s Competition Division in Paris. He is a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union.
