Barbara Cattrysse is currently Senior Mandate Officer at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Previously, she was Senior Legal Counsel at the EIB, then Advisor to the Vice President of the EIB, and Advisor to the EU Council Presidency in Brussels. Ms Cattrysse also worked for 9 years at DG Competition of the European Commission, as well as law firms. Ms Cattrysse has an LLM from the University of London, King’s College London, an LLM from the University of Ghent in Belgium, and an Executive Master in Finance from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. She regularly speaks at State aid events, in particular related to financial instruments, access to finance, developments banks, and has published on these subjects.
