Christian Miege is Head of Antitrust at German DAX-listed defence company Rheinmetall, covering all antirust related issues. With a 15+-years tenure in legal and compliance fields, Christian has built a substantial career. Before he joined Rheinmetall, he worked from 2022-2024 in EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services team in Duesseldorf. From 2015-2022, he served as Head of the Internal Investigations department at German industrial conglomerate thyssenkrupp in Essen, dealing inter alia with substantial antirust investigations around the globe. Prior to this engagement, he a was a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance’s antitrust team in Duesseldorf and Brussels. Christian is a co-chair of the Internal Investigations & Whistleblowing Systems working group at the German Institute for Compliance (DICO). He studied law at Bielefeld University and Amsterdam Law School (LL.M.).
