David Medina graduated from St. John's University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. His career began at Accuhealth Inc. in the Bronx, where he worked in Home Infusion and Hospice Care for two years.

He then served as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Bronx Lebanon Special Care Center, supervising pharmacy operations and preparing the nursing home for Department of Health inspections.

David later joined Avanti Healthcare in Queens, where he spent 18 years providing Home IV services and directing pharmacy operations for six hospice accounts. He contributed to medication packaging programs, offered MTM counseling, and helped the company successfully navigate four JCAHO inspections.

Following Avanti's acquisition, David became the first Supervising Pharmacist at Amerita Inc.'s New York branch, where he managed operations and ensured compliance with industry standards, helping the company pass their ACHC inspection during his two-year tenure.

For the past four years, David has worked at Americare Pharmaceutical Services as a Home Infusion Pharmacist and was promoted to Assistant Compliance Officer after his first year. He has upgraded training procedures and policies, becoming the company's expert on compliance and USP standards. Under his guidance, the agency achieved a 98% score on JCAHO's revised inspection.

David recently obtained Board Certification in Sterile Compounding Pharmacy and completed Designated Persons training in February 2024.
