Chris Smalley, BSc Pharmacy, MS Pharmacy, MBA, PhD Healthcare Administration, has worked as a compounding pharmacist in a variety of settings, and has worked in the manufacturing and quality groups of major pharmaceutical companies. He is an avid advocate for better compounding pharmacy programs in pharmacy colleges, and teaches the course "Process Validation" for the FDA for 503B Pharmacies. He is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) where he has been a member of the Board of Directors, working to advance the science of aseptic and sterile operations, and is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering where he is a member of the Compounding Pharmacy Community of Practice and works to develop webinars that are free to both members and non-members on topics of interest to Compounding Pharmacies.
