David Rochefort, a second-generation pharmacist, has dedicated his career to New Hampshire. After college, he joined his family’s drug store in Lancaster and, in 2006, founded Eastern States Compounding Pharmacy in Littleton, the state’s first pharmacy of its kind. Over the years, he grew his business significantly before selling it in 2022.

Appointed to the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy in 2017 by Governor Chris Sununu, David served two terms, including as president, until 2024. During his tenure, he played a key role in drafting rules on pharmacy technicians, non-resident licensees, risk-based inspections, and pharmacist-prescribed contraceptives.

Elected to the NH House of Representatives in 2022, David passed several pharmacy-related bills and served on the Ways and Means Committee. In 2024, he was elected to the NH Senate, where he chairs the Senate Health and Human Services Committee—a rare honor for a freshman senator.
