CDR Dorcas “Ann” Taylor is a Lead Regulatory Counsel within the Division of Compounding Policy and Outreach, Office of Compounding Quality and Compliance, within FDA’s Office of Compliance. CDR Taylor oversees efforts to prepare policy and provide advice on matters concerning the interpretation and application of the laws, rules, and regulations administered by the Agency, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Before joining FDA and the USPHS, CDR Taylor worked as a state regulator with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy. CDR Taylor holds degrees in pharmacy and law from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and School of Law.
