Dr. Jay Bhaumik is the Founder and Chairman of Thesis Pharmacy and a healthcare executive with experience across pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare technology, and business transformation. His work has focused on compounding pharmacy, regulatory discipline, strategic growth, and operational excellence in highly regulated healthcare environments.

In addition to his leadership in pharmacy, Dr. Bhaumik brings deep expertise in healthcare information technology and digital transformation, with experience building systems that improve efficiency, support compliance, and strengthen care delivery. He has led the development of compliance infrastructure and quality systems, including USP implementation and FDA inspection readiness, while fostering a culture where regulatory discipline is a core organizational value. Earlier in his career, he held clinical research and executive roles with leading academic institutions including Johns Hopkins and Yale New Haven Health.

Dr. Bhaumik is also a serial entrepreneur whose ventures have spanned pharmaceutical manufacturing, contract research, healthcare-focused cybersecurity, wellness clinics, and aerospace manufacturing. Several companies he has founded and led have received national recognition, including Inc. 5000 and Fast 100 recognition for sustained growth over multiple consecutive years. He holds a PharmD, a postdoctoral fellowship, a master’s degree in information systems, and an MBA from MIT.
