Dr. Niklas Sandler is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of CurifyLabs, a healthtech company transforming how personalized medicines are compounded in pharmacies and hospitals through automation and 3D printing–inspired technologies.

With a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, Niklas brings a unique combination of academic excellence and industrial experience. He previously served as Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at Åbo Akademi University, where his research focused on advanced drug manufacturing technologies, material science, and pharmaceutical process engineering.

Niklas is widely recognized as a pioneer in printed pharmaceuticals and personalized medicine manufacturing. His work has led to the development of novel approaches for decentralized, on-demand drug production, enabling safer, more efficient, and patient-specific treatments. He has authored around 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and is a frequent keynote speaker at international pharmaceutical and healthtech conferences.

Through CurifyLabs, Niklas is driving the shift from manual compounding toward digitally enabled, automated manufacturing platforms, with technology now deployed across Europe and the United States.
