Dr. Ross Caputo earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from Ohio State University in 1971, his Master’s in Molecular Genetics in 1974, and his PhD in Microbiological Physiology and Immunology from Miami University in 1976. With over 30 years of experience in the FDA-regulated pharmaceutical industry, he specializes in sterilization research and aseptic processing. Dr. Caputo has authored over 50 publications and holds 12 US and numerous international patents related to infection control and sterilization processes. He is also an active participant in standards development organizations like AAMI/ISO and PDA.
