Insurance Requirements
Show Policies and Standards state that every exhibitor (and every exhibitor appointed contractor) is responsible for ensuring they have Comprehensive General Liability to cover bodily injury and property damage to third persons, including Personal & Adv injury limits and Products and Completed Operations coverage of not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. Neither Show Management nor the San Diego Convention Center is responsible for injury to persons, loss of, or damage to products, exhibits, equipment or decorations, by fire, accident, theft, or any other causes while in the building.
To make this process easier, exhibitors are able to purchase Commercial General Liability and Property Insurance from www.exhibitorinsurance.com. This Commercial Liability insurance will have a coverage limit of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, to protect the attending public, the show organizer and yourself. See this information for additional details and a sample certificate of insurance (on page 3).
