Laura Zizzo is a lawyer, communicator, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of climate law, policy, and financial risk. She is the founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Manifest Climate, the leading AI-powered platform for sustainability intelligence that helps organizations identify risks, opportunities, and regulatory gaps—using expert-trained AI to analyze public and private data.

Laura began her legal career on Bay Street and, in 2009, founded Canada’s first law firm focused on climate change. In 2015, she co-founded Mantle314, which evolved into Manifest Climate. She has advised leading financial institutions and governments across North America and is a recognized voice on the legal and financial imperatives of climate adaptation.

A seasoned delegate to the UNFCCC COP meetings since 2007 and a graduate of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership program, Laura has long championed effective climate communication. She is a published author and speaker, with audiences representing over $1 trillion in AUM, and has contributed to major research on legal liability and climate risk.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a JD from the University of Toronto. She serves on several advisory committees and environmental networks, including the IUCN and the University of Toronto's Environmental Finance Advisory Committee.
