Muhammed is one of the primary architects of the methodology that Willis utilizes to identify and quantify transition risks. He currently leads Willis’s Strategic Climate Disclosure team and manages the company’s transition risk consulting.
Over the past 12 years, Muhammed has specialized in quantifying transition risk through asset level modelling in commodity markets and using these capabilities to support clients in integrating transition risk analytics with business strategy and risk management, focusing specifically on Asset Owners, Corporates, and Sovereign clients. Before his focus on climate, Muhammed worked in the oil and gas industry as an investment analyst and petroleum economist.
Muhammed holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Warwick.
