Robert E. Montejo II is a partner at Duane Morris LLP whose practice focuses on the development, financing and operation of data centers and energy infrastructure. He represents developers, investors and capital providers in the acquisition, development and financing of mission-critical digital infrastructure projects across the United States.
Mr. Montejo advises clients on key legal and commercial issues in the data center sector, including site acquisitions, development agreements, capacity agreements, complex leasing structures, MSA and SLA negotiations, PPAs, interconnection and other power agreements, project financings and joint ventures. He also represents borrowers, lenders and investors in acquisition, construction and financing for digital infrastructure assets.
His clients include data center developers, energy companies, private equity firms, REITs, asset managers, defense contractors, institutional investors and banks.
Mr. Montejo received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, and graduated with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
