David Blackford

David Blackford is a Senior Managing Director of Infrastructure at Greystar and serves as a member of Greystar’s Infrastructure Investment Committee.

David has more than 25 years of investment and transaction experience in the infrastructure industry. Before joining Greystar, David led digital infrastructure investments at CIM Group, including the formation and growth of Novva Data Centers into an industry leader.

Prior to CIM Group, David led Macquarie Capital’s principal and advisory business in U.S. power generation in North America. His focus on infrastructure started at Citigroup Investment Banking’s Global Power Group, advising power producers and regulated utilities. His investment experience began at Lazard Asset Management's Global Equity team, supporting a value-investing approach.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University and earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder since 1999.
