Charles Hill is co-founding partner of Alta Real Estate Investments, LLC ("Alta") and has founded and served as managing member of a number of real estate based operating companies primarily focused on opportunistic multifamily real estate investments. Along with the other Principals of Alta, he is also a Partner and co-founder of CGHS Realty Investments, LLC. During the past 20 years Mr. Hill has acquired over 15,000 value-add apartment properties and has also been a developer of multifamily and single-family properties and has acquired office, storage, mixed use and hospitality properties. Over his career he has been involved in $5B+ of real estate acquisitions and mortgage originations throughout the United States. In the past, Mr. Hill has been a speaker at various real estate conferences and has been a guest lecturer in real estate at the Anderson School at the UCLA School of Management. Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Los Angeles, law degree from Southwestern University and has completed post-graduate studies at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
