Frank Liu is a Managing Director with over 20 years of real estate experience in acquisitions, finance and asset management spanning a range of platforms and product types. Having joined Canyon Partners Real Estate in 2011, Mr. Liu is responsible for the Northwest and Midwest markets where he originates, underwrites, structures and executes both debt and equity investments. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Liu worked for the real estate investment arm of a family office based in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for the group’s capital markets activities. He has also held positions at Lowe Enterprises and JBG SMITH (formerly The JBG Companies). Mr. Liu is a graduate of Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics and Government and Duke University where he received his M.B.A.
