Louise Langheier

Louise serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Peer Health Exchange (PHE), a national non-profit whose mission is to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make healthy decisions. Since 2003, PHE has trained 15,000 college students to deliver health education to 150,000 ninth graders in under-resourced communities across the country. Louise graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History. While there, she co-founded and directed Community Health Educators, the student volunteer program out of which Peer Health Exchange grew. Louise was selected as a member of the 2011 class of Aspen Entrepreneurial Education Fellows, and was named an Ashoka Fellow in 2012. Louise sits on the Board of Directors of America Achieves and Chairs the Board of Cow Hollow School. She is particularly honored to serve as Board Chair for I AM ALS. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and three sons.
