Paul Young has headed up the Investments Regulatory Reporting function at abrdn plc since 2019, responsible for the operating model design and oversight of EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR reporting, various other regulatory data provision processes, and has led implementation and enhancement projects in all these areas.

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in critical control functions across the Fund Management operations sector – building and managing teams in fund accounting, financial reporting and market data areas at Deutsche Bank, State Street and Standard Life Investments.
