Calandra studied Statistics at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich in addition to completing a philosophy bachelor’s degree at the Munich School of Philosophy. She has since spent 4 years working for Munich Re’s Risk Management Partners as their expert for ESG topics with a special focus on physical climate risk reporting and biodiversity and nature risk. She has recently led the project to launch the Reporting edition of Munich Re's geospatial tool Locations Risk Intelligence.
