Charlie is a Managing Counsel in the EMEA Public Policy and Government Affairs Team at BNY Mellon, focusing on Sustainable Finance. She is a regulatory lawyer having trained and qualified into the Financial Regulation team at Linklaters LLP. During her time at Linklaters she gained experience advising banking and asset manager clients on general regulatory perimeter issues as well as on more specific topics such as MiFID II and Brexit. More recently she was seconded to BNY Mellon to advise on various regulatory change projects, after which she joined the Public Policy team in January 2022. She has previously worked as a professional opera singer and has a Masters in Music from the Royal Northern College of Music
