Cody's tourism career began with over a decade as Director of Marketing for Economic Development Winnipeg and Tourism Winnipeg. His strategic initiatives resulted in award-winning campaigns that attracted investment, talent, and visitors alike.

A Certified Destination Management Executive, Cody continues to shape the industry's future. He serves on Destinations International’s board of directors and has previously held board positions with DI’s CDME and DMAP programs. Additionally, he collaborates with Destination Canada through their Northstar and 10X networks.
