Carrie joined Texel from a law firm where she was a Partner, specialising in managing a wide range of insurance disputes, especially marine insurance matters.

Carrie worked as a solicitor in private practice for 13 years post-qualification, and in that time she was seconded to a number of clients, including the in-house legal team at Willis (as was) and the marine cargo claims team at AXA XL.
