Luis A. Torres is the Regional Head of the Americas for the Portfolio Management & Distribution (PMD) unit of HSBC’s Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF) business area. In his role, Luis and his team lead the day to day management and growth of our GTRF assets and programs in the region including Investor Relationships, Legal documentation and Commercial Execution in the secondary market.

Luis brings to HSBC 25+ years of trade finance experience with Global banks having held leadership positions across the trade product spectrum of Sales, Product, Structuring and Syndications/Distribution. Prior to his current position, Luis created, grew and managed the Portfolio Management and Distribution capabilities for Trade and Supply Chain Finance at both Citibank and Bank of America. Luis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College in NY.
