Samuel has 28 years of extensive experience in international trade banking, structured trade & commodity finance, treasury, capital markets, credit enhancements, including structured credit and guarantees as well as in credit & political risk insurance. He previously worked with DBS Bank, UOB Bank and as CEO of Export Credit Insurance Corporation of Singapore (ECICS).

Samuel was previously the Regional Director of Risk Management and Trade & Structured Finance at Koch Industries and had held senior credit underwriting positions with AIG, QBE and Asia Capital Reinsurance (ACR).

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney.
