Brad Dunderman

Executive Director Private Insurance Placement, Americas at SMBC

Brad joined the New York Branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in 2016. As Executive Director, Private Insurance Placement, Americas, Brad is responsible for managing the placement of non-payment insurance supporting for all loan facilities originating in the Americas region. Prior to SMBC, Brad was the Director, Global Insurance at Motorola for eighteen years managing the global trade and political risk policies, and, beginning in 2010, the corporate risk insurance programs as well. Brad's responsibilities included managing Motorola’s Dublin based captive insurance and reinsurance companies. His work experience also includes managing the Midwest Regional Office of the Export-Import Bank of the United States in Chicago, and marketing and underwriting for FCIA Management Co. Inc. Brad's education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.
