Catalina Munoz is the Latin America Head of Export & Agency Finance (“EAF”) at Bank of America, where she is responsible for developing strategy and leading the origination, structuring, and execution of new business in the region, by providing financial solutions through Multilaterals, Export Credit Agencies and Development Financial Institutions. She is based in New York.
For the past 20+ years Catalina has been involved in numerous cross-border EAF, M&A, Project Finance and Capital Markets transactions. She has a wealth of experience across the EAF industry, corporate and investment banking, having served as EAF Executive Director at SMBC (where she was responsible the EAF business in Latin America), Citigroup (where she held various positions as a coverage banker and Regional Head of EAF), BNP Paribas (where she was a coverage banker for Latam), and Banca de Inversion Bancolombia (where she was part of the M&A and structured finance team).
Catalina holds a General Management (GMP) degree from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands), and a BS in International Business from EAFIT University (Colombia).
