Profile

Nathalie Louat is IFC’s Global Director of Trade & Supply Chain Finance. In this role, Nathalie is responsible for delivering a coordinated set of programs and services designed to help bridge the trade finance gap in emerging markets, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, women-owned businesses, and climate-smart transactions.

Nathalie has held a number of senior-level positions at IFC. Prior to her current role, she was the Global Senior Manager in charge of Innovation, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Distressed Assets from 2014 until 2020. She was previously the Senior Manager for East Asia and the Pacific Portfolio Operations and also worked in IFC Treasury's Structured Finance Department. Prior to joining IFC, Nathalie was with Credit Lyonnais Investment Banking after spending several years with the French Ministry of Finance.
