Sean Riordan

Managing Director, Head of US Credit & Financial Risk at Howden Re

Sean is a Managing Director at Howden Re and leads Howden Re’s US Credit Reinsurance effort, where Howden Re acts as an intermediary in structuring, modelling, and placing reinsurance on behalf of managing general underwriters, insurance companies, banks, export credit agencies, and multilaterals. Sean’s focus at Howden Re is on new client programs and new product areas, especially in Structured Credit products supporting new market entrants.

Sean joined Howden Re in 2022, with previous roles at Aon Re in New York and London as part of Aon Re’s Credit & Financial Risk team. Sean holds a BA in Economics from Yale University.
