Alex Azoy

Alex Azoy joined Arcus Biosciences in 2020 and has served as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer since March 2023, bringing extensive finance, accounting, and tax experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Arcus, he held various senior leadership roles with companies in the Life Sciences sector, including SVP Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller, with a focus on R&D accounting, clinical development, collaboration arrangements and commercial product launches. In 2015, Mr. Azoy was the Corporate Controller for Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (acquired by Allergan plc.), where he had responsibility for accounting and reporting during the Company’s first commercial product launch. He began his career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young. Mr. Azoy holds a B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Northridge and is a Certified Public Accountant in California.
