Timothy Chen joined Exelixis in 2018 and leads financial planning for the company's product development and technical operations organizations. In his current role, he leads short- and long-range planning activities, with a focus on scenario planning, resource allocation, and financial management of Exelixis's clinical development programs. Throughout his tenure at Exelixis, Timothy has held leadership roles spanning corporate FP&A, enterprise forecasting, long-range planning, treasury and capital allocation, and business development evaluations. Prior to joining Exelixis, he held finance and strategy roles at Flex and SunPower. Timothy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. from Cornell University.
