With over 25 years of sales and use tax consulting experience, Chris has a proven track record of helping his clients address a variety of sales and use tax challenges. Mr. Engels specializes in assisting his clients with multistate sales and use tax matters across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, retail, real estate, financial services, insurance, life sciences, medical device companies, e‐commerce, and many others. Mr. Engels enjoys working with his clients to minimize their sales and use tax expenditures, assist with recovering tax overpayments / refund claims, mitigating client’s exposure to sales and use tax assessments, taxability studies, nexus studies / voluntary disclosure agreements and audit representation / controversy work.
