Gisele Dion is Alnylam Pharmaceutical’s Chief Accounting Officer and an experienced Audit Committee Chair serving on the Board of Directors for publicly traded companies. Previously she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller at Takeda Pharmaceutical and Shire Pharmaceuticals. She is an accounting executive who solves complex business challenges, unifies teams, captures innovations, and drives change for high-growth organizations. Currently, she is head of accounting and controllership for Alnylam and accordingly is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, including external reporting, technical accounting, SOX compliance, and finance operations. She is also responsible for maintenance and enforcement of global policies and procedures under US GAAP, SEC and other external reporting requirements. She manages a team that leads financial due diligence to support M&A activities and advises on alternate deal structures. She also provides senior financial support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Committee and members of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
