Grant Faustino is a Senior Staff in Crowe’s State and Local Tax group specializing in all-state unclaimed property compliance and consulting. Prior to joining Crowe, he was a statistician at an unclaimed property audit firm specializing in statistical sampling and liability estimation. Outside of unclaimed property, Grant is a member of Crowe’s Tax Specialty Consulting Transformation Team where he focuses on process improvement and technology implementation both internally for teams at Crowe and for Crowe’s Tax clients.

Unclaimed Property: Grant’s experience working on both the holder advocate side and unclaimed property auditor side of the unclaimed property world have led to deep expertise in multistate unclaimed property compliance, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, risk mitigation, and exposure analysis. Grant has helped companies of all sizes come into and maintain unclaimed property compliance, as well as defend against unclaimed property audits.

Process Improvement: Throughout Grant’s career, he’s leveraged his technical skillset to implement process improvements ranging from day-to-day task automations to scaling process changes for teams. Grant has worked on a variety of projects including automating statistical sampling programs, sunsetting legacy processes relying on VBA tools with Alteryx Analytic Applications, and productionizing data visualizations & database report generation.
