James Murphy's career spans fifteen years in strategic finance and financial leadership spanning both public and private biotech companies. In his current capacity as Head of Financial Operations, he is instrumental in guiding financial strategy and overseeing the Finance & Accounting departments at Eccogene. Preceding this role, James held positions at Sigilon (acquired by Eli Lilly), Zafgen (acquired by Larimar Therapeutics) and PwC. James earned an undergraduate degree in History from Wake Forest and an MSA/MBA from Northeastern University.
