Juan Betanzo's career spans over fifteen years in strategic finance and financial leadership spanning both public and private biotech companies in the greater Boston area. In his current capacity as Vice President of Strategic Finance at EyePoint, he is instrumental in guiding financial strategy and overseeing the FP&A and Treasury departments. Preceding this role, Juan held pivotal senior finance positions at Celsius Therapeutics, Enzyvant, and Travere Therapeutics. Juan earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MBA from Babson College.
