Katie Capps brings significant experience in financial operations, SEC reporting, SOX compliance and technical accounting in the biotechnology and medical device industry. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Accounting & Controller at Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical stage biotechnology company dedicated to creating small molecule drugs for treatment of viral infections, including RSV, COVID-19 and human metapneumovirus, where she has overseen the growth of the organization from a discovery stage company to a company with multiple Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials in process. Prior to joining Enanta, she was the Senior Manager of Accounting at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager at Novanta. She began her career in the health industries practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she audited public and private biotechnology companies, hospitals and higher education organizations. She holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from Bentley University.
