Rakhi Kumar has served as Chief Accounting Officer at RoivantSciences (Nasdaq: ROIV) since August 2018, leading Roivant’saccounting and financial operations and related internal controlsfunctions. Prior to her role as CAO, Ms. Kumar served as Roivant’s VicePresident, Finance and External Reporting from 2015 to 2018. Herexperience preceding Roivant includes leading external reporting,corporate and technical accounting at The Medicines Company from2013 to 2015 and working in assurance services at Ernst and Young.Ms. Kumar is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s(FASB) Small Business Advisory Committee (SBAC), serves on theboard of directors and as Chair of the audit committee for the medicaldevice company NeuroPace (Nasdaq: NPCE), and on the board ofdirectors for Roivant Social Ventures (RSV). She is a licensed CertifiedPublic Accountant in the United States, a Chartered ProfessionalAccountant in Ontario, Canada, and holds an M.S. in Accounting andTaxation from the University of Hartford.
