Scott currently serves as the Executive Director, Assistant Controller at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. In this role he has global oversight of the general ledger and technical accounting teams, accounting policy, consolidation, external reporting and the Company’s SOX PMO. Prior to Vertex, Scott was at Takeda Pharmaceuticals where he most recently served as Vice President, US Controller, and prior to joining Takeda he was an audit director at PwC within the Pharma & Life Sciences practice where he also spent significant time serving non-audit clients in a consulting capacity. Scott graduated from the University of Maine and enjoys spending his free time with his family and at Boston sporting events.
