Scott Phillips is CFO of Halda Therapeutics, a discovery stage biotech headquartered in New Haven, CT focused on targeted small molecules, called RIPTAC’s, for oncology. He has led several venture-backed and clinical-stage biotechs in senior leadership and CFO roles, preparing these companies from startup financing through operations as a public company. Prior to his work with venture-backed companies, Scott spent much of his biotech career at Alexion Pharmaceuticals where he served over 10 years in senior financial leadership roles, including Chief Accounting Officer and SVP, Global FP&A, as the company expanded from a pre-commercial business to a global commercial organization. Scott is a CPA and began his career in the technology practice of a Big 4 accounting firm, specializing in venture-backed companies, acquisitions and initial public offerings. He has a B.S. Business Administration and Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
