Steven Kenney is a Professional Accounting Fellow in the SEC’s Office of Chief Accountant. Steve’s responsibilities include following the activities of professional accounting standard setting bodies, responding to accounting consultations from registrants, auditors and other divisions and offices within the SEC on accounting and reporting matters, and participating in the development of the Commission’s rule proposals. Prior to joining the SEC’s Office of Chief Accountant, Steve worked in the audit practice at KPMG.
Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Providence College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and New York.
