Mirella Reznic serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union (FIGFCU), where she leads the organization's vision, performance, and financial strength, while shaping and fostering its company culture. In her role, Mirella drives the Credit Union's strategic roadmap and oversees its ongoing development and transformation—ensuring sustainable value creation for both Members and employees.
Under her leadership, FIGFCU is pursuing a bold growth strategy targeting $5 billion in assets by 2030, leveraging a combination of organic expansion and strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining FIGFCU, Mirella served as the EVP, Chief Strategy Officer at Valley Strong Credit Union, executing two mergers and a Salesforce and data transformation. During her time, the Credit Union grew from $1.5 billion in AUM to $4.5 billion in AUM. Prior to this, Mirella worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London, managing a business unit across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) with $7 billion in AUM. She has extensive Fintech experience having helped build big data artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, and has worked with Fortune 100 companies such as American Express and MetLife. Over the past 28 years, she has worked across financial services in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.
Mirella's key areas of expertise include Strategy and Planning, M&A, Product Innovation, Digital Transformation, Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Organizational Development. She is a published author and has presented on these topics at various conferences, events, and industry forums.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Neurobiology, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance and Strategy from Cornell University, New York.
Mirella has served on the board of several for-profit and not-for-profit companies. Currently, she is a board member of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, California.
In her spare time, Mirella enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling, baking, and playing the violin. She has a passion for the performing arts and financial literacy. Mirella is married to Justin, whom she met in the UK, and they have a daughter, Amelia. The family relocated to the U.S. in 2019 with their beloved dog, Moses.
