Norah Coelho is a Managing Director in JPMorgan Payments, leading the Concourse & Checkout businesses within the Embedded Finance division. Norah began her career in fixed income and debt capital markets, spending 7 years at Morgan Stanley in New York and London, advising governments, municipalities, public sector agencies, universities and endowed foundations on financing themselves in the debt markets. She then spent 5 years at American Express in the small business card division, based in London. After Amex, Norah moved to PayPal where she spent 7 years in the Credit division, launching and running merchant lending businesses for the company in the UK and various international markets before taking on leadership of the global PayPal Working Capital lending business and relocating back to the US. After working in London for 15 years, Norah, a native Washingtonian, is now based in JPMorgan’s office in Washington, DC.
Outside of work, Norah is a board member for the Healthcare Initiative Foundation, an endowed foundation which funds organizations that provide healthcare and improve accessibility to health services for underinsured, uninsured and low-income residents of Montgomery County, Maryland, where Norah, and her husband and 3 children live.
