As the head of the secretariat of the Interfederal Screening Committee in Belgium (within the FPS Economy) and former corporate lawyer (in Luxembourg and Brussels), I take on a certain number of tasks, such as (i) ensuring the proper handling of the FDI files notified to the authority, including through a good coordination of the different entities involved in each file, (ii) acting as the main point of contact for both the investors and their representatives and the European Commission and other Member States with regard to the European cooperation mechanism and (iii) answering the legal questions on the cooperation agreement or the functioning of the screening mechanism. I also act as chairperson of the Interfederal Screening Committee.
