Gil Demeter is a Vice President at Aliment Capital food and agriculture technology fund based in Los Angeles, California where he leads the firm’s information technology sector focus. Mr. Demeter has worked in the venture capital investment space for 15+ years and has executed on over 200+ private investments. Prior to Pontifax AgTech, Gil worked at Qualcomm Ventures for 6+ years where he focused on investment activities in the wireless space, specifically running the clean technology and IoT investment focus for the Fund. Before that, Gil worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Piper Jaffray & Co. where he focused on execution of M&A, debt and equity finance transactions. Gil holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
