Hiarhi MondaR&D Humic Lab Director at Bio Humic NeticsSpeaker
Profile
Hiarhi received him master's degree in Agro-Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Improvement and management of Agro-forestry resources at the University of Naples "Federico II". His research field is focused on the application of biostimulants in sustainable agriculture to reduce the impact of agrochemicals and the footprint of mineral fertilization. He has been focused on recycled biomasses as a source of convenient organic matter to implement agricultural practices and costs. The combination of organic matter and plant growth microorganisms has been part of a European project he's been involved in, allowing him to join the JKI institute in Braunschweig (DE) as a visiting scientist. In 2018 he started working as a soil chemist and then as Research Director at Humic Lab Facility at Bio Huma Netics Inc, Arizona. The structure-activity relationship (SAR) study is his actual research line where the advanced analytical characterization of the final products is an essential step for correlating and understanding plant physiological responses. Current projects involve collaborations with the National High Magnetic Field facility (MAG Lab) at Florida State University, the Iowa USDA-ARS department, and the University of Arizona.
