James FieldCMO at DogHausSpeaker
Profile
James Field is a consumer-brand growth executive whose career sits at the intersection of beverages, foodservice innovation and franchise growth. He currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Dog Haus, leading the award-winning craft-casual brand’s marketing and growth strategy as it prepares to expand from approximately 60 restaurants to 300 locations.
At Dog Haus, Field oversees full-funnel marketing, brand positioning, partnerships, social and digital channels, franchisee communications and revenue-focused initiatives. He also leads an expanded team spanning marketing, creative, innovation and off-premise growth. Together, they are focused on making every marketing dollar work harder, increasing guest frequency and turning unconventional ideas into measurable growth for the brand and its franchisees.
Working closely with Dog Haus’ founders and leadership team, Field helped drive, shape and authorize the brand’s landmark partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper. The first-of-its-kind platform extends across fountain drinks, packaged beverages, coffee, energy, bar programs and off-premise occasions. Rather than treating beverages as a secondary menu category, Dog Haus is using them to create discovery, strengthen the guest experience and unlock incremental restaurant revenue.
Previously, Field served as Chief Innovation Officer of Jersey Mike’s Subs. He built the company’s enterprise innovation function during the period of rapid growth preceding its approximately $8 billion acquisition by Blackstone. His work included developing new menu and product platforms, modernizing commercialization, forming strategic brand partnerships and identifying operational and supply-chain efficiencies. He also brought corporate teams, vendors and franchisees together around initiatives designed to scale across the system.
Field previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of L.A. Libations, where he led marketing and brand strategy across a portfolio of emerging beverage companies. Throughout his career, he has helped launch, position and commercialize products across alcoholic, non-alcoholic, functional, better-for-you and emerging regulated beverage categories.
As Head of Foodservice Marketing for Cholula Hot Sauce, Field helped accelerate growth through national restaurant partnerships, culinary innovation and expansion across independent and small-chain operators during the period leading to Cholula’s acquisition by McCormick.
Across each chapter of his career, Field has connected consumer insight, product innovation, brand strategy and operational execution to turn ambitious ideas into scalable commercial growth.
