Pat Cobe is Senior Menu Editor at Restaurant Business, one of the Informa Connect media brands. She’s been covering the menu beat for over 20 years, writing about food, beverage and restaurant trends, the research and development behind menu items, and profiles of chefs and beverage directors.

Along with Bret Thorn of Nation’s Restaurant News, Pat co-hosts Menu Talk, a weekly podcast that covers a wide range of menu topics through interviews with chefs and operators. She is also an active participant in the New York City restaurant scene, tracking trends and enjoying the melting pot of restaurants and cuisines.

In addition to her day job, Pat serves as a judge for the James Beard Journalism Awards and is a board member of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
